PEOPLE STOP AT RED LIGHTS!

Me and my dormmate were driving around downtown Portsmouth recently and we almost got hit by an idiot driving through the intersection on HIS CELL PHONE. His light was red and ours was green but the idiot still kept on going coming close to hitting us on the drivers side. I really wish cell phones would be banned.

If it helps any it's illegal to drive with a mobile, unless you have a hands free in Scotland, so, as most hands free kits never work when you want them to there are lot's of people parked in bus stops or laybys chatting on their phones.

I experienced exactly the same thing two months ago, except he didn't have a cellphone, he was daydreaming! He nearly hit me and two cars.

Never trust anyone in traffic. There's a lot of idiots out there sitting in leathal weapons.

MelancholyBunny: Oh, it's illegal. When did anyone ever take any notice of the law? Just because it's illegal won't stop people doing it. Anyway, our lovely police forces - sorry, services - are far more interested in making money out of speeding drivers.

Anyways, Alice Cooper was saying on his radio show that he once got in 5 wrecks just dialing his phone.

i drive in OR, USA, where they have these stupid "round-about" intersections.... where if you want to make a turn, you have to drive around this little island in the middle of the intersection.... i can't tell you how many times i've almost been side swiped by morons who don't stop/watch for people already coming around the island (ie-me)....
