Any tips for someone trying to write a book...

It would be good to get rid of the word "stuff". It makes the author sound like he doesn't know what he is trying to say. I remember being chewed out in the 4th or 5th grade for using the word "stuff" in a similar manner.

I really feel that if it's not a part of my story, then I don't need to use correct grammer. how many people use correct grammer when they talk? Not many I'd assume. Posting on here is like talking, and few people talk with correct grammer...

Okay. Just a tip. If the introductory passage to your website is fraught with spelling and grammatical errors, they'll assume the rest of it is and they won't bother with it. Sorry about being blunt. Just trying to enlighten you, that's all.

This is the best advice. I write scripts and have had them produced and the key to success is realising that you have to write for an audience. Not just the ones who will be reading it for leisure but also the people who's business it is to sell your book. Find out what certain publishing houses are looking for before you go for it and PLAN PLAN PLAN!! !!
