I have been seeing some very odd questions from purported NASs recently, and kind of wondering if this is some sort of deviant new spam form. Probably just my natural tendency to view things with suspicion. How common have such odd questions been in the past?

No, this is fairly common. A lot of people seem to think that there is a "general rulebook" that all people with AS go by, and they mistakingly believe that we can tell them about their crush, friend, etc. and what they will actually do. When we really can't tell them anything but our own experiences and preferences.

Yeah. It's just that these questions struck me as so odd.
I just couldn't imagine people actually asking them.

I think it lacks truth, is meant to get a reaction.

Emu eggs, nothing about themselves, a made up button pushing story. Emus should get, Welcome, good luck with that.

Those who tell nothing of themselves and post an emotional subject are seeking thrills and reactions.

If you want the input of the group, you should be willing to join first, get known for who you are, then discuss your problems.

I have not been around for long, I am my problem, I hope no one cares.

After many years of isolation a lot came out, now I am catching up, shorter post, better spacing.

I posted getting to know each other, but have never started a thread.

You are only paranoid if they are not out to get you.

I have difficulty spotting 'trolls', and sometimes i give the benefit of doubt.
However, i would say at least one of them is trolling.

No one could have made up the driving around in circles post. It is just too weird. Whether or not the other person in the autozone love affair has AS, well who knows?

There are some people who I believe have self mis-diagnosed. I guess they'll figure it out sooner or later.

Most people would quite literally die from this kind of work schedule. Maybe I'm paranoid too, but this simply doesn't sound plausible.
