me too, I think that is one of the criteria for being an Aspie. . lackof empathy. . .

I dislike the implication: Is Human -> Got Empathy. It is offensive, putting it that way.

I was just thinking. Could one of the reasons that we don't like are parents to care because we can't relate to them and they can't to us and if they try to relate alittle, they might trash things up?

I have alexithymia - my empathy just isn't getting through. Many aspies have an affinity for animals though.
