The price of the pea green Macbook that I want has been jacked up by $200. It was $780 and now it's $900.

I have bedbugs and I have a week to get ready for the treatment. Their little pea green eggs are not cute, because I know what hatches from them.

That's $120, not $200. :nerdy:

Seeing broken avatars. Maybe a hiccup from a recent update?

I can't see mine and CockneyRebel's, I wonder it happened to others too and why.

Anyway.

I have heard news reports lately about keeping day light savings in place. I'm all for not changing the clocks, but the people making this decision cannot see past the end of their ever growing nose and think keeping it at -5 GMT is somehow better than -6 GMT, which is what is actually should be. Liars and idiots.
Why not just change it to 0 GMT since they are ignoring anything that resembles a standard?
On the other hand, I could be wrong about the whole thing.
At the moment, I am unhappy AND bitter.

The barbeque that I was looking forward to going to this coming Thursday has been postponed to Early September due to smokey weather. It was going to be at least an hour drive into some woodsy area.

Remembering my NT sister's childhood BFF who around this time several years ago, I unexpectedly crossed paths with at a bus stop. She asked so many uncomfortable questions about my NT sister, but also uncomfortable questions about me and our mom. She stopped talking after asking several uncomfortable questions.

"I'm going to file a restraining order against you if we ever see each other again!" :x

Sometimes temporary connection issues produce the broken avatar image but they usually clear up automatically.

CR's isn't showing - or rather, it's showing "Content not viewable in your region" - because Imgur is used as the source. They've decided that owing to the so-called online safety legislation in the UK they'll take the easy route out and display nothing.

This may affect other countries with similar legislation so for that reason, I strongly suggest another free image provider is used instead.

Yep, as you'd reported.
The upload avatar part of the profile has gone AWOL, hopefully to return soon.

This is related to the "Content not viewable" message above.

Ok interesting! Thanks for the explanation, even if I don't fully understand but it's okay!

I had uploaded mine from my computer and that option isn't there anymore. I used to use Photobucket, but recently when I recovered my old account I deleted the account, so don't know where I'd host the picture right now, but that's okay. So, for now, I'll stick with either no photo or picking from the local library, as I feel like it! :jester:
