simply put... I lost all of my work!! ! it's been completly deleted from my comptuer due to software issues.
I recently began to write more after this issue accured, but I have no printer connection as of yet.
(i can fix this when I find the printer startup disk) but I'll never get my work back...

just out of curiosity, I'll ask a short little question,

What do you think the basic idea from my book? that would be...

Main character is young adult female. ( I won't say her name 'cuase I can't risk it being stolen.)

she isn't entirly human, but it's hardly noticable. (can't say what that means)

It's meant to be more of an emotional story.

perhaps such a story would be liked by people with asperger's when you consider that fact that most of the characters have similer mental disablitys or issues with family, (that's a big part of it) almost all the female characters carry memorys of past abuse from their fathers, and most male characters act kind of girly, but there arent' a lot of males in in the story anyway.

I think my favorite thing about it is that all characater have unique and unuasual personalitys...
What do you think?

Have you tried a ristore point on your computer?

I lost an entire book i wrote when XP Windows Microsoft Works upgraded to Windows MS Word 2003.
I know how devistating it is cause i couldnt recover it from the file format and it annoyed me to bits...

now I make sure i back everything up.

I don't trust my computers, so I ALWAYS keep a backup copy of my work. I usually email/save as draft any current version of my novel, and I update the draft daily. So if my computer crashes or something, I always have a saved version in the mail.

Your story seems intriguing, but there isn't enough information to tell.
