So lately I've been thinking about something. Although my diagnosis of Asperger's as a young adult is giving me some answers as for why my behaviour is the way it is, there are some questions that are still not answered and I'm therefore curious after reading about ADD/ADHD whether that could explain some of my problems.
The things I'm thinking about are:
-Why I always tend to do my homework/assignment at night they day before it has to be handed in.
-Why I get frustrated and give up when a project I'm working on doesn't go according to plan.
-Why I, even when I'm interested in something, give up on reading books about that topic.
-Why I'm so impatient.
-Why watching TV without doing something else at the same time is boring.
-Why it feels like I have this inner energy inside my body that I don't know how to get out.

Note: I have booked an appointment with my GP and I'm thinking to bring this up. Just wanted to hear someone else's opinion.

This does sound ADHD related.

Sounds like me, and I do have ADHD. Asperger's and ADHD often come hand in hand I feel like.

You sound exactly like me. I also have ADHD as well as ASD. Studies show around 37%-85% (wide range I know) of people with ASD/Asperger's have ADHD as well. Nothing to be ashamed about having both, anyway 8)

I kind of have those problems & I also have AD[H]D. I would mention this during the appointment cuz there are meds that can help but some are also sometimes used for other issues so it'll be good for your doc/psych to know your other mental issues.
