Why is The Stupid Cupid 1944 the Worst LT Short?

Seriously, it is the worst Short

Because I enjoyed it, the last time I saw it, I have to ask what makes it the "Worst LT Short." Granted, I don't know what "LT" stands for, so I might agree with you. (edit: AH! LT = Loony Toons)

However, if you don't want to answer and get other's input without "coloring" the responses, I understand. I thought it was silly. Elmer Fudd was ridiculously silly, as I recall.

Watching it again, I do recall I was annoyed that he was shooting males and the females did not have any say in the matter, but it was quite silly.

This Short is so stupid ugly and dumb, bad Short

I thought it was quite funny. The joke with the cat having to shoot itself 9 times was darkly humourous.

It was a weak ending though.

Is it because Elmer is in a nappy you don't like it?

It's not the worst Loony Tunes/Merrie Melodies short. The worst short is said to be "See You Later Gladiator", made during the Daffy vs. Speedy Gonzales era of the 60s. Or at least it's one of the worst shorts. There are a few others but Stupid Cupid isn't on the list.

Just because other are saying it's bad just to troll you doesn't mean that it is. But human beings are horrible and they love to make others miserable just to be entertained by them being upset. The internet allows people to be insanely cruel and they hypersexualize everything. It's just sad and gross and the asteroid that's supposed to hit the earth soon can come quickly enough.

Elmer is supposed to be Cupid, so I see nothing wrong or sexual about him being in a diaper. But other humans have turned everything into a fetish recently so they're probably either trolling about diaper fetishism or saying they get turned on by it.

Humans are sick. I don't mean sick as in "Woah dude that's like totally sick", but "sick" as in "We are an irredeemably horrible species and we deserve to go extinct".

Yeah, it's not even really Elmer is it? It's Cupid, who just happens to look like Elmer. He doesn't behave like Elmer, or talk like Elmer.

The diaper part is pretty unnerving as someone who grew up on and was preyed upon by unsupervised internet access (I've also seen 2000s deviantart back when it was gore gore edgy blood and got in severe trouble for hyperfixating on the Warriors Series ocs), and I have gotten false accusations for liking the Short when it's less Elmer's appearance and more the visuals and story. And people seem to bash its true #1 fan because she works on Modern Spongebob (Eliza Herndon aka DuckTwacy). I should be the #1 fan of TSC. But nowadays I prefer Space Jam because the Nerdlucks are adorable and easier to sympathize for than Elmer once you know their story (not romantically like Elmer though, there are hints they might be children so they are platonic.)

I've gotten the fetish accusations by someone I thought I trusted who was a popular member of the LT fandom like I said above. However, he is weird with one of the animal girl characters, made killing videos of some of my favourite characters, and proceeded to block me when he realized I started unfollowing and ghosting because how he treated me was unacceptable, even if I was admittedly being defensive of Elmer and defended Space Jam: A New Legacy since he's in nearly every animated frame.

This is why the Nerdlucks are better for my mental health, and I use r/autism more often than here.

You seem like a nice person, but this isn't a topic that many people have put much thought towards. I get the feeling the lack of responses come from a lack of interest in this topic, not due to having a poor impression of you.

Sorry you endured that as*hole. Glad your mental health is doing better these days though. As for being burntout from fixations I've been there. I was really into a celebrity crush that I've discovered a few years ago. Eventually my crush faded away (I still have feelings for him but I don't focus too much on him) due to bad memories, especially from an ex who is a fan of said actor. It's good to find new interests that don't mess with your mental health. I personally don't have great experiences with Reddit although it's been best for me to subscribe to groups that aren't very toxic and are based on my hobbies.
