Why would you do that? Thats the least funny thing to say ever. In fact its just stupid. No need to be so harsh. This is an ASD forum, I'm pretty sure we've all said some pretty stupid things in our lives. I am sorry. I am moderator on a self harm forum and there are so many members who tell their ... |

A lot of people here speak a lot of sense. I have attempted suicide, 5 or 6 times, I self harmed, half of body is scarred for life, I had a total break down, I'm on so much medication I can't function properly on my own. Then I found out I was possibly on the Autistic Spectrum. I've already been dia... |

Well I was/am a self harmer and my entire left arm from just below my shoulder to my wrist is scarred quite thickly and permanently. And tattoos and piercings were one of my obsessions for a while but not in a way that I would get one, but then I discovered the artist/tattooist Christ Garver and fel... |

My name is Aimée, and I think you'll find that Aimée is the original spelling of the name, its French and it means beloved, Amy and all other forms are derived from it. |

Why would you do that? Thats the least funny thing to say ever. In fact its just stupid. Your psychologist will have people come to her and tell them they are going to kill themselves, some of them will try it, she might have even lost a patient or more. And then you do that. Funny. Real funny. You ... |

I pick up on tension a lot, I think I often misread it though for something else, often anger or disappointment at me. |

I am the same with nearly every seat.
Especially in my own house, my brother is such a pain as he still argues even though there's only one seat I sit in. |

I do both of them but not severely. |

I get so so annoyed with people saying this to me. You try and explain things and they say 'Oh yes well so do I' or 'Oh everyone that' 'Yeah me to' Im clenching my fists just thinking about it, speaking to the Autistic specialist was the first time I was able to talk to someone without them doing th... |

I will not be touched by strangers/public. I hate. Hate. Hate. It. When I have to go out im like a fish or an insect trying to weave and not be touched. I wish I was one of those people that others move out the way of when they walk. My mum keeps being lovey and touchy at the moment which I hate, it... |

I think its good for diagnoses to be used with children, not just so that your son finds things easier but so that the rest of the children grow up with an understanding. It really does help in both cases so much. For example when I was young children with any differences were kept out of primary sc... |

I used to wear gloves obsessively, there wasn't really a reason I just knew I couldn't not wear them. No one seemed to ever comment very much except to ask occasionally where I got my gloves. I think when you are really aware of something you expect others to be but others, particularly NTs it seems... |
