7:22 replicates exactly what I go through, a continous evaluation of responses and actions to prevent offending the opposite minds. Ingoring other people doesn't work for me, I tried that with disasterous consequences, I was very noticeable. The response I was greeted with was anger and laughter fro...

I find it difficult reading non verbal cues, I generally know an angery face but can't determine the reason. Hostility from people is therefore difficult to detect, and unless that person is shaking me whilst letting me know, I'll never be able to determine these negative cues and the response I sho...

Yes, and all the time. I bite my finger nails excessively, more than half the length has disappeared. I compulsively pick at the skin under my feet using a pin or scissors, and use the sharp edges of a bottle cap to allow the skin to peel away. Using the abrassive fabric of my socks I rub inbetween ...

It is difficult to determine whether my sentitivity to sunlight is a direct result of AS, or whether it is because I have light blue eyes or a combination of both. But even in moderate sunlight I do have to squint in order to reduce the amount of light reaching my eyes, and I often have that permane...

I've become noticeable to NT's to say the least, this has recently been sourced down to my inability to react to social cues and acceptance. NT's have attempted to make it known to me but I unable to understand and therefore unaffected. I've become aware of their non-verbal attempts to make it known...

My mum used to have wallpaper which had ususual shapes and patterns which at first had no corre...

I don't see words because they have no use to me without some sort of image associated with it. Instead whenever I learn or remember my mind wonders off to a town or place I have visited and whenever I am learning my mind displays this scenery, in such a way that I feel like I am part of that scener...
