| Looking back, I'd say my gradfather, though of course there was no diagnosis available for him. He was very quiet, inexpensive, into his own thoughts, and uncomfortable in social situations. |

| I've gone through 2 episodes of burnout in the past decade, and my functionality has declined after both. Also, I'm just less inclined to care what people think about me, so I'm not masking much anymore--which others might consider as less functional, but I just don't have the energy for it. |

| I'm 61. Like Velorum, I've been taken advantage of by a past partner and left with nothing. I'll be working in one way or another till I'm carried to the grave. | Two people can be the same physical age but at very different stages of life. They could also be very different physical ages but at a similar stage of life. This is much more likely if one of them is autistic. |
