The smell of cooked pigs fat and prepared unfertilized eggs filled the room The simple pleasure derived from a common connection to another Taste and consumption ensued, gnashing teeth tearing the pieces apart The sounds of savages Silent to some thunderous to the sensitive It ends when it ends

So, I'm thinking of trying to get something together for Autism awareness month at CMU. Last year a class just showed the Rain Man and while I believe it was well intended, that movie kind of shows a tiny picture of what Autism really is. I'd like to get people that have Autism/Aspergers syndrome to...

Anybody here an Autistic EMT or Paramedic? I'm about to take my NREMT's and I was just wondering how many Autistic people work in EMS. It seems like there are so many reasons why it'd be a difficult field for us.

I am the only high functioning Aspie I know. The only Autistic people I know are very low functioning. In fact this guy at work who is low functioning is one of the few people I really feel connected to at work. Whenever I seem to meet someone with Aspergers they are nearly always lower functioning ...

If by factors you mean basic necessitates for survival, then hypothetically consider those to be provided given we preform a service of some sort. |
