Sometimes it can be just social exclusion or being ignored. When I finally made an attempt to lose weight back in my senior year of high school, my classmates started to notice... A few boys, mainly classmates who were involved in sports/sports related activities, approached me during class on one o...

Depending on the circumstances, I'll eat dishes in a certain order. For example, if I was told (or observe the food myself) that one particular dish is scalding hot I put that aside for later and eat the colder dishes first. However, since I live with Japanese customs I want to respect the idea of a...

Yes, all the time. I usually latch onto someone I'm most familiar with (friend or someone I'm sort of familiar with), but I also run the risk of being seen as "unusually attached" so at some point I'll go off somewhere and find a place where I'll less likely to be "socially harassed" to take a break.

I faced a similar position when my group members in high school history class so naturally, I got really angry as I tried to do that best I can to finish it up. Although at some point I notified the teacher and I was relieved that he took my problem seriously. I'm assuming that he knew my work habit...

I live in a place full of condos (8 housing units per building) with a private pool. Ever since I was still in diapers, my mom would sometimes take me there for a swim and that's when I developed a natural ability to swim. In addition I started taking swimming lessons at various pools near local par...

Another thing. Go to the doctor and get your vitamin D level checked. If you're vitamin D deficient you can't burn fat efficiently.

Ah. . .now I know why my weight loss specialist recommended that. Thanks for pointing it out. I always forget to take my vitamin D supplements regularly. :?

Well..I never had any experience with learning from professional/trained instructors, but I used to be quite enthusiastic about hula hooping (via my love for Cirque du Soleil). One of the shows had a hula hoop act so I spent almost every night and several months trying attempt some of the tricks mys...

Nothing odd about it. Although I'm also guessing it is a side affect for growing up with Japanese customs (but I live in the US). In the addition of actually visiting Japan throughout my life, I have been to hot spring spas numerous times so being naked amongst other naked individuals of the same ge...

Art. Luckily, I'm indulging in mostly art classes right now as I'm an art major (though I still have to pick out upper divisions courses which shouldn't be too bad since I don't have to take math classes anymore). On the other hand, I don't like math classes so much, especially if it's something lik...

I generally hate socializing, but it really depends on the person and setting. If I get into a conversation with a mature, energetic college classmate; its cool. Although I did attend senior prom...but that was only because I wanted to be with my friends and make the end of my year memorable.

I have dealt with group work so many times, but I had the worst experience during this project I had for US History class back in high school. (I was a junior at the time.) I had to work with about two or three other girls and they would mostly talk their butts off during class and it bothered me. S...
