This is why I've been trying very hard to not let myself get overly indignant over hypocrisy anymore. Pretty sure that's a surefire way to go completely nuts, and for what? So I can get called hysterical and a radical anyway? It's like finally punching a bully back after years of abuse just for them...

If it makes you feel any better, you sound way more like an adult than I do, and I'm married. But I can't work/pay bills or drive, which feels like the most adult things you can do other than... I dunno, sort mail and vote, lol.
Do you get worried others might not see you as an adult? |

Anybody else play this? If so, we should share friend codes so I can send you mail and FINALLY unlock the Onion Knight/all the side quests. :nerdy: I have a Ninja, Sage, Dragoon, and Bard in my current run. We're in Eureka getting the cool final weapons before doing the Crystal Tower. It's been fun ...

I ran into a young lady who had given me a lot of grief in middle school. She did apologize and we became FB friends with loose plans to maybe hang out. Honestly though, I still find her pretty intimidating, but she's been through a lot and I'm not about to hold a grudge over some crap that happened...

I plan on switching partly to Linux (laptop won't run it, but my desktop allegedly can't run Win11  ). Most of the programs I use are open source, but I've been using Windows my whole life and switching is so intimidating. Does anyone have any pro tips for beginners using Ubuntu? Honestly I ca...

Queer is certainly its own opt-in subculture with its own jargon and norms and whatnot. I'm bisexual, romantically a bit more homo than not, but I'm not queer. The term does nothing for me and the queer community makes me cringe sometimes when it tries to be subversive for the sake of it. Not every...

The longer I've been on testosterone, the more I've mellowed out. Part of that has to do with getting older, but the change was drastic. Getting top surgery definitely helped a lot with my confidence too. I'd probably benefit from a little vocal training to be honest; my voice is the only thing that...

It's so effing tiring to have 3 people crammed into your head along with some guy trying to get you killed (or just keep you miserable) and then have two more following you around. It's weirder that none of this is even effing real! Each one is a mere figment of my imagination, as much as I wish it ...

I listen to a lot of classic rock, old pop and swing music, and people actually seem to think that's pretty cool. My love for Heroes del Silencio, Enrique Iglesias, Nena and Die Toten Hosen is even cooler. And just about everyone I've met likes Weird Al. The ONLY time my weird taste have ever set me...
