you can't choose if you're gonna be a good person or a bad one. bad people are bad because they were born that way. good people were born good. it's all biological, and yeah, it's mother nature who's the dictator because god is just a BS bedtime story for poor scared little adults who can't sleep a...

I'm on the border between agnostic theism and weak atheism. I like the idea of gods in the non-omnipotent sense; but I have yet to find any satisfactory evidence for the existence of any gods. Regarding the existence of one and only one 'personal' god, omnipotent and omniscient, I'm in the 'strong a...

I think the RCC is a couple of centuries overdue for dissolution, but that dissolution is finally on the way. Its tastes are far, far too rich: It consumes enormous amounts of resources that would be better spent in the communities of the believers. Many of its policies, such as the bans on birth co...

The Scandinavian version of paganism is probably best known as Ásatrú (pronounced Ow' sa troo , and roughly translated as 'Faithful to the gods'). Rather than calling ourselves pagan, a lot of us prefer the term heióinn ('heathen'). I'm an agnostic Ásatrúar and see the Aesir, Vanir and Jotnar as rep...

Lipstick is the only kind of makeup I've ever used on a regular basis, and I haven't used it for years. I've used mascara, rouge and eye shadow a few times. Can't stand foundation makeup at all; it always felt awful on my skin.

Agnostic polytheist. I think that "gods" of somewhat limited power are possible, but don't see any way of verifying their credentials.

As intriguing as I find the Jungian concept of the Collective Unconscious, I'm reluctant to think of it as anything more than wishful thinking on Jung's part. Unless it's some sort of mind-to-mind-to-mind network based on something like mirror neurons, I don't see how it could possibly work. On the ...

I see the world and the elements sacred as creations of the God and Goddess, you just say f**k the earth God will make us a new one  thats not how it works! I'm with you, Kilroy. I am also of the opinion that the Earth is something to be protected, not used as the playing field for some winne...

My Prime Directive is to pursue my own desires and interests as much as possible without causing harm to other beings. Kind of like "Follow your bliss" blended with Ahimsa. In real life, this is rather difficult to consistently put into practice. For instance, I'm not a vegetarian (although I have b...

I guess Ann Coulter was right: "Conservatives believe in God. Liberals believe they are God." Well, I Myself am agnostic regarding My own divinity. I *have* been called a goddess by three different people, none of whom ever met one another. Fortunately, I preside over things that happen all by them...

But you will never, ever take away my Christianity. Every time you try to destroy it, it multiplies in number; with every martyr comes ten converts, as in Rome, up until the point where Christianity was so prevalent that the Emperor was converted. Argumentum ad populum. A large number of believers ...

christians stole so much from pagans- Yule (christmas), Beltane (easter) even Samhain (halloween) Beltane and Ostara are actually two different pagan holidays. Easter is based on Ostara, which is tied to the spring equinox. Beltane = May Day. Yule (I spell it Jól), Ostara and Halloween are my three...
