I like this thread. It's got lots of good advice. Don't think about it as changing who you are, but as learning to socialise much like you'd learn any other skill. Also, don't feel like you have to completely change your interests, maybe just try to be more open minded to others. Geeky/nerdy guys wh...

In your case I don't know. We didn't start out as long distance, it just happened because of work. Often the only thing that can properly fix it is seeing him again. Sometimes it can be as simple as getting a silly text... one of those ones that don't say anything beyond "I saw a deer!! !" but someh...

I had a really good time in my first week at uni. It's one of the few occasions where everyone is going to be very enthusiastic to talk to anyone new, simply because no one knows who their friends will be yet. The student bar in my halls was so crowded I couldn't bring myself to go in there, but I f...

We live in different countries, so meeting up isn't that frequent. But our relationship has been good in spite of the distance. I think for now it looks like we're just going to be good friends. Maybe in time this will pass and he will reconsider. But for now it looks like that's that. We'll still ...

I've been with my partner for 10 years. We waited until 3 yrs in to move in together, and then we always got a place where I could have my own room. We put in an extra bed for when I have insomnia, and my computer, and I kept it dark and quiet. She agreed not to bother me if the door was shut. Now ...

This sounds a lot like how I felt at the beginning of my current relationship. I think you're definitely overthinking things. I wouldn't worry about how many days it's been since meeting. If you want to see her then do. If you don't then don't. If you both like eachother then there aren't set rules ...

It's good fun but it's probably not the sort of game that people get obsessive over. It's definitely a roleplay themed card game rather than a roleplay game (although having said that, some of the D&D games I've been involved in ended up being more about the stats than the roleplay).

I like my men with facial hair as long as they can grow it properly. The guys who try to have a beard and end up with patchy fluff probably shouldn't bother (sorry), but proper beards can be pretty attractive especially if long hair is also involved.
Spongy - your beard is fab. |

Part of the problem is that by avoiding mentioning the fact that you're a transexual, you'd probably also have to modify or lie about other things from your past to make it add up. I just can't see any way that you could be otherwise totally honest without causing suspicion and it's the knowledge th...

| It's the sort of thing that I would expect to be told before a relationship became serious, just as I'd expect the person to tell me if they were autistic and just like I've always told boyfriends about my AS before things go too far.
