I don't think it was weird that he suggested salmon. To me it sounds he was just being nice. You could have said "No, I don't feel like eating salmon now' or something. But yeah, I totally feel you, I always hate when strangers start talking to me. And I also startle when people do talk to me random...

I practically have the same type of problem now. But I have these kind of things usually after or during a stressful period. I'm in one right now actually. Been in there since tuesday I think. I usually have a strict diet, now I barely eat anything. I'm not motivated for anything. I lose every game ...

Viscerotonia = 10
Somatotonia = 14
Cerebrotonia = 24
Scores should range between 8 and 24.
Scores from 8 to 13 could be considered "low,"
from 14 to 18 "medium,"
from 19 to 24 "high."

I have that quite often, especially when greeting someone I know in public. I practically never greet people, even though I try to say it. I also have it when talking in a group, which can be quite annoying. Or when really tired, like right now, christmas consumed all my energy.

Well, they accept it. But kind of try to force it out me. They know I have trouble with eye contact, still forcing me to look at them etc. Because they think that's how I will learn it. Or just messing up my whole room, because I have a spot for everything. Even for papers I don't need anymore, and ...

I am gifted and have aspergers. I got myself tested and got an IQ of 175. I am kind of nerdy. But one of my interests is health and fitness, so I am kind of an healthy muscular nerd. I often hear that a lot of gifted people are pedantic. I am also a bit pedantic. A friend of mine is also gifted, and...

Yes, I kind of do. I have a strong memory, give me some random numbers, I just need one look to remember it. I can be hundreds of numbers long, I'll still remember it after just one look. But, when I have to do some laboratoria work (not sure if that's how it's called) at school, make me read the ma...

Yes, definitly. I actually think people with aspergers may have a benefit. We see details others can't see, and of course may have the great attention span. I actually got accepted in oxford university and the royal academy of music at the same time. I am doing two studies atm. I don't think the deg...

Its a good question: what is the difference between a tantrum and meltdown. But I don't think I have experienced real meltdowns or shutdowns, so don't really know what those are. I did develop a infrequent tantrum behavior though. But for me it developed later when I was on my own as a way of deali...

Well actually I would say that they should rather be working on their own problems, which is setting other people off. Instead of being afraid of you. Do you consider that what you had as a tantrum? Do you still have other close people in your life? I once had the same thing as you used to have; I a...

Thanks a lot for the replies. I read a bit about tantrums. It seems to me that you do them (in this case) in front of your parents. But I did it when I was alone, in my room. And the part where I said hurtful things to them was when I tried to hear their story and they just kept being unreasonable. ...

Hi everyone, I'm sorry for placing this in the wrong section, if I did that. Anyway, I had an huge meltdown yesterday. It was because I my parents are abusing their power. They have the power to either kick my out of the house and ruin my life, stop paying for college and all that. And they use that...

Doesn't sound weird to me either. I think I would have reacted the same way. Maybe without the "yeah.." I don't see a reason why everybody would stare at you for reaction that way. I usually just try to smile and say OK when someone says something like that to me. But I can only smile when there's a...
