I've heard the opposite from counselors--that it crosses most people's minds at some point.

That's true. I don't think there are many people out there that have never felt like they wanted to die.

I believe you're talking about depressed people... aka not sane. (Thie kind of people who talk to counselors...)

Any time I even mention it or anything people freak out like theres no way I should ever be thinking like that. "Healthy" "sane" people have an inane desire to preserve their life above all else.

That's what I've heard anyway. I would beleive it does cross most peoples minds at some point, but then again it seems a perfectly logical conclusion to me. Also, most people get depressed at some point in their lives.
