I thought of a crazy one last night.

Allah goes up to the prophet Muhammad and gives him a mission, travel to the future and slay all the cartoonists who draw him because people aren't supposed to know what he looks like. Muhammad then puts on a mask so the audience gets to see his face (and its cool because they know its a mask).

The story is simple enough, but they way you tell it has to be dead on. You've got Muhammad riding on a flying steed into the future with a bad-ass sabre (heavy metal style) looking for a bunch of cartoonists. Ocassionally he might run into a woman not wearing a hijab, so he'd bean her with a rock from 50 yards away and knock out some of her teeth as a warning.

Then he gets to a cartoonists house, the cartoonist tries to run or plead or something, and Muhammad cuts the guy in two (to a heavy metal soundtrack). Then the cartoonists wife and son come downstairs to see what all the fuss is about, and Muhammad impales the guys kid so he doesn't have a vengful son to worry about, then he consumates his victory with the cartoonist's sexy widow, then takes her to his floating palace (that he gets to on his flying horse) to be a part of his harem.

The rest of the story had Muhammad finding the rest of the cartoonists, and the same thing, slaughter to a rocking soundtrack, take wife to floating harem. I mean it has to get changed up a little bit, but those basic things have to happen.

What are you trying to do? Start a riot ????

I already explained the part where he's wearing a mask, this story is blasphemy proof.

Saved us all with that quick thinking.

More like pre-planning, speaking of which, do you know any good writers, animators, and/or editors?

I sometimes write about the most randomest of things. Like when a fictional gal I am seeing has to go to the hospital, I end up going with her for another reason: To repair a broken nose sustained when some idiots play baseball and accidentally hit me with the ball in the nose.

Another story idea is this: A guy goes around my hometown of Seattle sticking gum in other people's hair.

We've all had some story ideas that are "out there". Post them here.

In late 2008/early 2009, I came up with a story where two stoners twist the nipples of random people (about 18, if memory serves) around Seattle. It's kinda based on the serial killer stories, but nobody gets killed.

You have officially made me laugh so hard that I can now defy gravity.

One idea which features in my daydreams, but I haven't really written much about:

All over the world, people are transforming into various kinds of mythical creatures. The change affects people when they sleep, and transforms them overnight. The people who transform all have one thing in common: they secretly wished they had special powers. The change only affects the kinds of people who are interested in that sort of thing. However, they do not get to choose what kind of being they transform into, and not everyone is happy with what they've become. The kind of creature a person becomes depends on the person's ancestry: a person of Irish descent may become one of the Fair Folk, such as a banshee or pooka; a person of Arabic descent may become an efreet; an East Indian person may become a rakshasa; a Japanese person may become a kitsune; a person of mixed ancestry may become a creature corresponding to the folklore of one of the groups they are descended from or may become some strange combination of different mythical creatures. No one knows what is causing these transformations, and many conflicts are created when these transformed beings try to deal with their changes and adjust to a society that doesn't know what to do with them, and may regard them as evil. Also, many of these creatures are described in folklore as harmful to humanity, and many of the transformed feel the instinctive urge to prey on humans or otherwise harm or trick them.

I recently wrote a silly short story about a prince from ancient Greece getting into a diplomatic mess with the Egyptians after touching their queen's hair. The idea came from comments I've read from black people complaining about white people wanting to touch their hair. I'll post the story itself in another thread.
