Autistics tend to be rule followers so Chris's post should not be surprising. I also never smoked or did drugs. I drank but not to excess. And I didn't have my first sexual experience until I was 27.

As a guy on the autism spectrum, I don't have any trouble attracting or talking to women, but I'm completely clueless about how to conduct a relationship. I tend to ghost women after the initial encounter because I have no idea what to do next. Also, virtually all of the women I've been romanticall...

RFK Jr. doesn't think so. All the more reason to do it.

If you have Netflix, watch Love on the Spectrum and Down With Love. Proof that yes, it's possible.

On season 8 now. The first couple of seasons were so-so but it's been really good after that.

At first I thought I couldn't be autistic if I graduated college and have a good job. Only once I discovered that you don't have to be like Rain Man to be autistic that the pieces of the puzzle started to fit for me.

The online groups at AANE.org are worth looking into if you're looking for an online support group.

With all the different traits and variations of how autism presents itself, it makes sense that there would be an attempt to break these down into subgroups. In the long run it could help tailor therapies to address specific sets of traits.

I do. And it's part of my tendency to dwell on the bad things I do in life instead of the good things. I'm working with a therapist on trying to accentuate the positives in my life but at my age (60) it's not easy to change a mindset that's been ingrained in me for so long.

I have days where I feel very lonely and wish I had some really good friends.

Then I have days where I want nothing to do with friendships and the headaches that come with them.

Anybody else struggle like this?

Of course, how do we know Biden actually made that statement and it wasn't made by someone else covering up for him?

I really wanted to do a quiet island wedding so I wouldn't have to deal with the social crap. My now-wife wanted a traditional wedding with all the bells and whistles.

Guess who won?

Bottom line -- Do what works for the two of you. If the brother doesn't like it, too bad.

He definitely has some sort of mental issue. He's clearly a narcissist and has zero sense of empathy. Personally, I think he's also mildly autistic and might even be dyslexic (hence the basic spelling errors on social media). He's got plenty of cognitive issues but I don't think dementia is one of t...

Once I found out I was on the spectrum, it kind of gave me permission to stop forcing myself to be sociable. That "get out of jail free card" served to greatly reduce my stress level.
