I've been cutting my own hair for years. If your hair is long enough it's very easy to do. There are many instructions and videos online on how to cut your own hair. I actually loved getting haircuts, but I couldn't justify the cost once I learned to do it myself. Maybe one day when I'm old and don'...

For years I thought I was bad at math, because my teachers said so. It's all relative. The rest of my family and my friends were all better than I was at math. This continued until grade 9 when they started doing calculus, then I got hopelessly bad at it. My poor little brain just wasn't developed e...

If you wear a common size or smaller size thrift stores might have something nice for you. You wouldn't know until you go look. I hope you find something good there. If the size is very close you can have it altered. I no longer shop in thrift stores here any more because they got rid of the fitting...

I don't like to sleep in the dark, because I love the dark so I'm smart and active at night. I go to bed at dawn and sleep during the day most of the time. That's my natural rhythm. I pretty much fall asleep instantly when the sky starts to get bright. I do wear eye mask and ear plugs because it's d...

I like "O Holy Night". Learned it originally from Cartmen in South Park. :D Eventually I learned it properly. It showed off my vocal range well. We're not religious so we would sing songs of any origin. We used to go caroling at nursing homes every year until the pandemic.

I get it very occasionally. Never figured any reason before it just disappeared again. Probably something to do with hormone fluctuations.

Sure. It's normal to know nothing about finance if you've always been taken care of, or have never needed to make a lot of monetary decisions. I know quite a few people who don't know how to manage money or investing. Now if you want to learn about these things I suggest taking a personal finance cl...

Got mine a couple days ago. It's free here but you do need to have appointments. I've never had flu even once, but I plan to volunteer soon so I'll get the jab. Booked Covid vaccine for next month.

One of my sons was so picky when he was little, there were only a handful of things he would eat, and only a small amount. He was very thin and small and people worried he wouldn't survive. The rest of us ate balanced meals and kept offering him stuff, but he was not interested. When we bought him a...

I just got it done today. It's not bad at all. Try to time it a couple days after period when they're naturally softer. :) As you age breast tissues turn into fat so the pain will be less as well.

I'm ambidextrous. I do write with my right hand so nobody bothered me about it. I wondered if I could have been left handed as my left hand is bigger and stronger. Now with computers I think my left hand types a bit faster and can use the mouse equally as well. :? I guess it doesn't matter any more....

You are too young to drink.:) But I think it's OK to have herbal teas (no caffeine)? Chamomile, lavender and passionflower are calming. You can also find pre-blended tea bags. Just look for words like calm, relax, or maybe even nighttime. Just the ritual of making steaming hot tea can be calming. Ma...

Is that called "selective mutism"? I think it's rather common for autistic people. One of my sons has that. We try to give him a lot of time to reply, and not think too much if he didn't manage to say anything. We got him a medic alert tag that says he can not speak when stressed. So far h...

I think it entirely depends on your own feelings. Don't compare to other people. Having a house or children doesn't necessarily mean they feel all grown up. (More likely they just feel stressed out from the responsibilities.) It does seems like you want to try a bit more independence. You might want...

If you're not getting sick from living in a dirty place, then you don't have a problem. None of my family members like cleaning so we rarely do them. :D We do keep up with dishes, laundry, basic bathroom cleaning. Anyone who want to visit need to give at least a three day notice, and we always did c...
